Mustafa Tameez
CEO & Founder
Mustafa Tameez is the President and Founder of Outreach Strategists. A digital marketing expert, national political strategist, and former consultant on counter-violent extremism to the US Department of Homeland Security under President George W. Bush, Mustafa has appeared more than 600 times on CNN, FOX News, MSNBC, and CBSN.
As a leading strategic consultant across multiple disciplines, Mustafa has designed, created, and led engagement strategies for high-profile political leaders, public figures, and U.S. and international companies, government agencies, and organizations.
Mustafa has participated in national, state, and local politics for more than 20 years, and was named one of the top five political players to watch by Texas Monthly Magazine. Mustafa is the Chairman of the Board for the Transportation Advocacy Group-Houston, a Director of the Texas Lyceum, and a member of multiple civic and corporate boards.


Paul Rivera
Vice President of Research & Digital Media
Paul Rivera is a Democratic activist and strategist from New York, with more than 20 years of experience in government, elections, and public advocacy.
Paul got his start in politics at the 1992 Democratic Convention held in New York City, and served in the Clinton White House from 1994 through 2000, before moving back to New York.
Paul is a veteran of four presidential elections (1992-2004), six national party conventions, two gubernatorial elections in New York (2002 and 2006), and five election cycles for the New York State Senate Democratic Conference (2008-2016). As an independent consultant since 2013, Paul has worked on impactful campaigns and independent expenditure efforts across the United States.


Jason Spencer
Vice President of Communications & Public Affairs
Jason is a veteran communications and public affairs leader with more than 25 years of experience. For nearly 15 years, Jason helped drive local and statewide news coverage for two of Texas’ largest newspapers, first as a reporter and editor at the Austin American-Statesman and later his hometown Houston Chronicle, where he served as education editor and deputy city editor. From there, Jason honed his skills as a strategic communicator and public policy advisor in the positions of Press Secretary and the Superintendent’s Chief of Staff at the state’s largest public school system, the Houston Independent School District. At HISD, Jason helped win 69% voter approval of a $1.89 billion school construction referendum. Before joining Outreach Strategists, Jason served as Public Affairs Director for the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, where his duties included media relations, governmental relations, stakeholder engagement, and crisis communications.


Rogene Calvert
Principal
Ms. Calvert has dedicated her professional life to helping others through nonprofit leadership for more than three decades. From the United Way of the Texas Gulf Coast to the Child Abuse Prevention Network to St. Luke’s Episcopal Charities to the Asian Chamber of Commerce, she has helped shape the direction of countless institutions and nonprofit entities across Houston. Her service led her to work as chief of staff for Houston’s Mayor Pro Temp Gordon Quan and as director of personnel and volunteer initiatives for Mayor Bill White. Her focus is on healthcare, nonprofit management, and economic and business development. Currently on the boards of the Asian American Health Coalition/Hope Clinic, Care for Elders, American Leadership Forum, OCA – Asian Pacific American Advocates, and the University of Houston Hobby Center for Public Policy, she also provides leadership and guidance to Outreach Strategists’ clients. Her areas of expertise include nonprofit organizational management and startup; strategic planning and evaluation; program, community, and economic development; fundraising and grant writing; coalition building and coordination; and advocacy and public policy.


Linda Lorelle
Principal
Linda Lorelle is best known as an Emmy Award-winning journalist who anchored the evening news for nearly 17 years at Houston’s NBC affiliate, KPRC-TV. Linda is also a two-time winner of the prestigious national Gracie Award, given by the American Women in Radio and Television.
These days the Stanford graduate is an entrepreneur, running her multimedia production company, Lorelle Media, and serving as a Principal in Outreach Strategists. Lorelle Media is known for its masterful video storytelling, creating documentaries and other compelling content for corporate and nonprofit clients’ internal use, as well as for broadcast and online distribution.
Clients turn to Linda and her partners at Outreach Strategists for all aspects of strategic communications and customized consulting services that capitalize on the company’s vast network of global contacts. As co-founders of the Linda Lorelle Scholarship Fund, Linda and her husband, Lou Gregory, have awarded more than $4 million in college scholarships to 317 Houston area students. 2016 is the LLSF’s 25th anniversary year!


Michael Moore
Principal
Michael is an accomplished and seasoned executive respected for his 29 years of management, strategic communications, public policy expertise, crisis management, government oversight and stakeholder management. He is a respected leader and collaborator who has guided external affairs and strategic communications for public and private sectors. He served as both campaign manager and eventually Chief of Staff to Houston Mayor Bill White, handling the direct day-to-day operations for the fourth largest city in the U.S. with a budget of over $4.2 billion and over 21,000 employees.



Sabiha Gire
Assistant Vice President of Client Services and Marketing
Sabiha Gire is a digital native who has placed over $10 million in digital ad buys as Managing Director of Digital Media. Her insights and expertise are sought by national brands and organizations to lead multi-channel digital communications strategies. Sabiha specializes in the convergence of strategy, design, research, and technology and oversees digital staff in both Houston and Guadalajara, Mexico. Sabiha is a member of the Junior League of Houston, New Leaders Council, and a League of Women Voters Rising Star. She often contributes to various community organizations including Houston Area Women’s Center, Texas Children’s Hospital, and is a mentor for Girls Leading Our World (GLOW).



Zak Miller
Managing Director of Comms & PE
Responsible for overseeing Outreach Strategists’ portfolio of services and clients related to public engagement. Through original content creation and project management, Zak serves the needs of clients ranging from businesses, nonprofits, and individuals to government agencies.



Armando Cuevas Brun
Counsel
Multicultural attorney and business advisor with over 15 years of experience, licensed and admitted to practice as an Attorney and Counsellor at Law in Mexico, New York, and Texas.
Armando has attended business and law schools in the US, Mexico, and Canada. His expertise lies in designing and implementing complex cross-border investment structures in multiple industries throughout the USMCA region. Fluency in Spanish and English languages, cultural understanding of the region’s business environments, and knowledge of both common and civil law enable Armando to advise companies and high net worth individuals to do business seamlessly across borders and industries.
Armando has experience on a broad range of high profile cross-border mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, oil and gas, renewables, secured transactions, franchising, real estate, telecommunications, bankruptcy , financial restructurings, joint ventures, strategic associations, private equity, venture capital, corporate finance, anti-trust, banking, and finance matters, as well as corporate governance and compliance.



Ana Ulloa
Administrator
Ana is an experienced field organizer and political outreach coordinator focusing on nonprofit initiatives and communicating with diverse populations. She manages the field team at Outreach Strategist and synthesizes and analyzes data. Ana is a skilled tax preparer, she is also a trained CPA from Mexico, and a Texas certified paralegal.



Lorenza Carrillo Villaseñor
Managing Director of Creative Services
As a brand strategist, Lorenza establishes a brand’s visual identity, putting together standards on color, type, and how they all interact together. She creates digital content and marketing collateral that helps clients communicate effectively.



Maggie Green
Senior Account Manager
Maggie Green is a program & project management professional with over 10 years of expertise leading, designing and managing public health programs. Her collaborations and partnerships with both public and private organizations have led to the delivery of public health programs and services across Harris County and the 12 surrounding counties in the Greater Houston area. Maggie has also worked on major healthcare initiatives and proposals including President Obama’s signature initiative – The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. This effort led to over 3.8 million people in Texas, selecting a plan in the healthcare marketplace during the initial open enrollment period. Before joining Outreach Strategists, Maggie served as a Community Liaison at the City of Houston’s Health Department. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Master’s degree in Public Administration from Southern Arkansas University.



Tim Lankford
Sr. Manager Communications
Works closely with our clients to place their stories before local, statewide, and national media outlets. With more than 10 years experience in communications (including stints as reporter and producer at major broadcast outlets), Tim understands what makes a good story and what it takes to get prime pick-up. Clients he’s managed have netted more than $5 million in earned media attention.


Rebecca Block
Chief Operations Officer
Rebecca Block brings more than 20 years of experience serving nonprofit organizations to her role as Chief Operating Officer of Outreach Strategists. She has supported organizations in a variety of capacities including strategic planning, communications, fundraising, program development, and engagement.  Her industry experience includes service in health and human services, fine arts, education, criminal justice, mental health, and leadership development.
Before joining Outreach Strategists, Rebecca served as the Vice President of Communications and Engagement for the American Leadership Forum where she led the organization’s communications strategies and developed programming for more than 1,400 senior-level leaders. Prior to that, she served as a Staff Consultant with Sterling, where she provided a variety of consulting services to more than 35 Houston-area nonprofit organizations, including support for operating and capital campaigns.Â
In the community, Rebecca serves as a Trustee of the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center (ERJCC). Rebecca earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania and is a Senior Fellow of the American Leadership Forum.



Amanda Pope
Sr. Associate
Amanda is a Legislative Research Associate with Outreach Strategists. She is responsible for social media strategies and content creation as well as expanding operations across a number of online platforms and mediums. Through the preparing and commissioning of material for publication, Amanda helps craft messages and develop outreach plans for clients.
Amanda has a degree in Political Science and Psychology from Rice University, with wide political experience across the state of Texas. Amanda has experience both working on a number of campaigns across Texas well as experience working within Houston City Council.



Anthony Torres
Associate
Assists with content creation, research, and media relations. Anthony develops carefully crafted analysis and works collaboratively to solve client needs.



Daniel Meza
Sr. Associate
Daniel has worked in the design field for over 9 years, even while he was still studying his career. He has worked on very different types of companies, gaining considerable experience as he had tasks on varied design subjects. Daniel should have no difficulty in making the transition to this industry.Daniel’s degree is in Design for Visual Communication from the University of Guadalajara. He is experienced in design for social media and editorial design, however, he’s anything but limited to those design branches.In his spare time, Daniel is a person who really likes films, he also likes taking pictures, mostly of natural landscapes and architecture, and he’s also a music lover.



Janet Torres

Janet is a Integrated Designer responsible for providing practical solutions for a wide range of projects; transforming clients businesses into solid brands. From concept to execution and implementation, Janet is committed to help brands communicate effectively, creating an emotional connection that translates in brand value.
In addition, Janet is a skilled web designer that both creates and improves functional websites. From creation of content to structuring and designing wireframes. Prior to working with Outreach Strategists, Janet worked for an agency that specialized in web content and development, building robust skills on web design and implementation.



Jorge Medina
Art director
Jorge Medina is a graphic designer who has worked for both public and private communication. As art director, Jorge defines and develops overall visual identity for each project. He supervises as well that the communication strategies work rightly and accordingly to the brand’s needs. His insight and experience allow him to manage the graphic team and fully direct the creative process for a client.



Omar Khurshid
Manager
Responsible for providing Outreach Strategists clients with competitive political research and policy analysis. Omar helps clients achieve their goals through original content creation and project management.



Isobella Harkrider

Isobella Harkrider is a writer and assignment editor who covers healthcare, education, human-interest and lifestyle news. She’s the author of several books and has written for The New York Times, SELF, Parents, SheKnows, Houston Press and others.
