    Mustafa Tameez

    Mustafa Tameez is the Managing Director of Outreach Strategists.  His background in politics, national security, media, and community relations, has helped him carve out a niche as a strategic consultant across multiple disciplines, while leading a firm that serves clients and projects ranging in size and scope from small local interests to national governments.  

    With over 600 media appearances on Fox News, CNN, MSNBC and local television, Mustafa is a media expert. Leveraging this expertise allows Mustafa to provide insights on how to work within the media landscape to connect with audiences. His wit and wisdom are regularly featured in the Houston Chronicle and the Texas Tribune, and he’s appeared in articles for the New York Times, and the Washington Post.

    Texas Monthly named Mustafa as one of the top five political players to watch.  As a self-described recovering campaign consultant of almost two decades, Mustafa lead winning Democratic campaigns for big city mayors and top-tier congressional seats in urban and suburban districts across the Southern United States.

    In 2005, the Bush administration tapped Mustafa as a consultant to the Department of Homeland Security.   His efforts have also helped several law enforcement agencies forge better relationships with the communities they serve through cultural intelligence trainings.

    Mustafa’s unique political and public policy background has positioned him as a public affairs advisor to organizations like Uber, AARP, Sesco Cement, and the Greater Houston Partnership.

    Mustafa serves on the boards of Unity National Bank, the Texas Lyceum, the American Leadership Forum, the Transportation Advocacy Group, and the Anti-Defamation League’s Coalition of Mutual Respect.

    Linda Lorelle

    Linda Lorelle is best known as an Emmy Award winning journalist who anchored the evening news for nearly 17 years at Houston’s NBC affiliate, KPRC-TV. Linda is also a two-time winner of the prestigious national Gracie Award, given by the American Women in Radio and Television. These days the Stanford graduate is an entrepreneur, running her multimedia production company, Lorelle Media, and serving as a Principal in Outreach Strategists. Lorelle Media is known for its masterful video storytelling, creating documentaries and other compelling content for corporate and nonprofit clients’ internal use, as well as for broadcast and online distribution. Clients turn to Linda and her partners at Outreach Strategists for all aspects of strategic communications and customized consulting services that capitalize on the company’s vast network of global contacts. As co-founders of the Linda Lorelle Scholarship Fund, Linda and her husband, Lou Gregory, have awarded more than $4 million in college scholarships to 317 Houston area students. 2016 is the LLSF’s 25th anniversary year!

    Rogene Gee Calvert

    Rogene Gee Calvert has dedicated her professional life to helping others through non-profit leadership for more than  three decades. From the United Way of the Texas Gulf Coast to the Child Abuse Prevention Network to St. Luke’s Episcopal Charities to the Asian Chamber of Commerce, Rogene has helped shape the direction of countless institutions and non-profit entities across Houston. Rogene’s passion for service led her to work as Chief of Staff for Houston’s Mayor Pro Tem Gordon Quan, and as Director of Personnel and Volunteer Initiatives for Mayor Bill White. Rogene’s focus is in health care, non-profit management, and economic and business development. Currently on the boards of the Asian American Health Coalition/Hope Clinic, Care for Elders, American Leadership Forum, OCA and the University of Houston Hobby Center for Public Policy, Rogene also provides leadership and guidance to Outreach Strategists’ clients.

    Alim Adatia

    Alim Adatia

    Alim D. Adatia, is currently a Director at Outreach Strategists (OS), a public affairs firm, where he works with a variety of clients across the public and private sectors to develop and execute on ideas in order to meet their stated goals. 

    Leading up to his return to his hometown of Houston, TX, Alim worked in Boston, MA where he was Special Counsel to Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and the head of the Governor’s Drug Lab Task Force. In this role, Alim was also appointed as a Special Assistant Attorney General representing the Massachusetts State Police and the Department of Public Health. 

    Prior to this role, Alim operated Adatia Law, a general practice law firm in Boston, MA whose most significant book of business came from criminal defense. In addition to representing private clients, Alim maintained a full-time roster of indigent clients appointed to him as a Bar Advocate for the Suffolk Lawyers for Justice. 

    Prior to his private practice, Alim served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office (SCDAO) in Boston, MA. Alim spent a majority of his time at the SCDAO as the Safe Neighborhood Initiative Prosecutor within the Gang Unit. This role allowed Alim to immerse himself in the community and develop relationships with a variety of stakeholders to think locally about reducing crime. 

    Alim was recognized by the SCDAO as the 2009 District Court Prosecutor of the Year. In addition, the Boston City Council named June 18, 2010 “Alim Adatia Day” in recognition of his service to the City of Boston. Most recently, Alim was part of class XXXV of Leadership Houston. 

    Throughout his career, Alim has placed a priority on making sure that he works at a community grass roots level to ensure that he is in tune with the issues and ensure that he is making a positive impact.  Alim currently sits on the Board of Suits for Sons, and has sat on several nonprofit Boards, including the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Criminal Justice Section, Project Right (community organization), and is a founding member of Roxbury Choice (specialty probation program). Alim has also been a guest lecturer at New England Law and an instructor at Harvard Law School.
