Our fast-paced office offers a dynamic learning environment ideal for any entry level professional seeking to gain knowledge of the local public affairs arena and access to some of the most influential networks in the Houston area. We are currently seeking highly motivated interns to work closely with our public affairs and communications professionals to develop skills needed in the field. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: research, writing, general office maintenance, occasional assistance with events and campaign errands.
We do our best to match our interns to projects best suited to their skill sets, development needs and long-term career goals. With that in mind, we hope to solicit applications from diverse candidates with a range of skills and specialties.
Minimum requirements for this position include completion or near completion of a bachelor’s degree in political science, marketing, communications, economics or related field. Knowledge of public policy or campaigns is a plus. Candidates should possess strong written and verbal communications skills and must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
